The Old Post Office Bed and Breakfast is based in the village of Haxton (adjoining Fittleton) just 7 miles north of Stonehenge and 5 miles from the local town of Amesbury.

The A303 is 10 minutes by car, making us an ideal halfway break en-route to the West Country if travelling from London. We're just 10 minutes drive from Tidworth, Bulford, Larkhill and Upavon and walking distance from the Netheravon Airfield Camp.

From A303 and Amesbury
Turn north off the A303 at the Countess Roundabout onto the A345 towards Marlborough and Netheravon. Carry on this road for about 5 miles, going straight on over two roundabouts. When the road drops down between thick trees and just after a bend but before the 'Dog & Gun' public house, turn right into Netheravon village and Haxton (signposted). Bearing left, drive through Netheravon, past school on left, shop on right, over the bridge into Haxton. Bear right at the Triangle Green. Carry on, past sign to Fittleton on left. Straight on to houses on the left, one of which is the Old Post Office B&B (signed). Parking is opposite the Old Post Office B&B (signed). Drive up the gravel driveway which is adjacent to the marked public footpath. Private parking is at the rear of the car park.

From M4 and Pewsey
From Junction 15, follow the A346 south. Turn right through Marlborough and then left onto the A345 through Pewsey and Upavon. On leaving Upavon turn right then immediately left following signs for A345 to Salisbury. Haxton is about 4.5 miles on from Upavon. Look out for sign to Netheravon. Just after this sign on the brow of the hill turn left into Mill Road. Pass the Mill Brewery on the left. Turn left at the T-junction. Drive over the bridge into Haxton. Bear right at the Triangle Green. Carry on, past sign to Fittleton on left. Straight on to houses on the left, one of which is the Old Post Office B&B (signed). Parking is opposite the Old Post Office B&B (signed). Drive up the gravel driveway which is adjacent to the marked public footpath. Private parking is at the rear of the car park.
